Phased Array/PAUT Level II Technician (Phoenix, AZ) [PAUT-PHX]

is seeking a highly qualified
Phased Array (PAUT) Level II Technician
to support a growing non‑destructive testing program. This role is intended for experienced technicians who can perform independent field inspections, interpret results in accordance with applicable codes, and deliver accurate, defensible inspection reports.
This position involves travel, extended hours, and working in challenging industrial environments.
Required Certifications and Qualifications
PT and MT Level II Certifications
(preferred)
Verifiable
classroom training hours and on‑the‑job training (OJT)
documentation
Strong working knowledge of:
ASME Codes
(Section V, VIII, IX)
AWS Codes
(including D1.1)
API Codes
(API 1104, 650, 653, as applicable)
AWWA Standards
Ability to interpret indications, evaluate acceptance criteria, and generate professional inspection reports
Work Requirements
Ability to work
extended hours , including nights and weekends
Willingness to
travel
and work
overnight
as required
Ability to work in
environmental temperatures ranging from below freezing to above 100°F
Capable of
lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods
Comfortable working
at heights
and in industrial environments
Must meet client and site‑specific safety requirements
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
Multi‑method Level II certifications with 5 year minimum experience.
Experience performing PAUT inspections in industrial, structural, pipeline, or tank applications
Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Local applicants preferred
