What You’ll Do As a
Staff Backend Engineer , you’ll play a key role in designing and scaling high-performance backend systems that power a global marketplace. You’ll collaborate closely with founders, designers, and fellow engineers to craft elegant, reliable APIs and infrastructure that enable developers to build on top of the platform.
You will:
Design and build performant, scalable backend APIs used by internal and external developers.
Architect systems and primitives that accelerate development and improve reliability.
Collaborate with product and design to turn vision into clean, maintainable code and data models.
Write and maintain high-quality code that prioritizes clarity, speed, and simplicity.
Continuously refactor and remove outdated systems to maintain a modern, efficient architecture.
Contribute reusable patterns and tools that increase developer 적용 across the team.
Prototype quickly, ship fast, and iterate based on real user feedback.
Ideal Candidate Background We’re looking for an engineer who thrives on impact — someone who wants to shape the core foundation of a high‑growth product used by millions.
You might be a great fit if you:
Have 7+ years of professional backend development experience.
Are fluent in one or more modern backend languages (e.g. Go, TypeScript, Rust, Python, or similar).
Have deep experience designing RESTful or GraphQL APIs and scalable system architectures.
Care about developer experience and API design quality.
Are comfortable owning large projects end‑to‑end, from ideation to production.
Value simplicity, performance, and maintainability in your code.
Have experience in fast‑paced startup environments where speed and precision both matter.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with creator platforms, marketplaces, or financial systems.
Prior experience in Series A/B startups or small, fast‑moving teams.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and modern infrastructure‑as‑code.
Interest in building internal tools and developer frameworks that enhance team productivity.
