About Your Next Job Manager, Technology Product Owner, QCL E2E Quality – APR
The Quality, Compliance, & Sustainability organization within Johnson & Johnson Corporate Business Technology (SCT) is recruiting for a full‑time Technical Product Owner to join the End‑to‑End Quality Product team to provide support to Quality & Compliance’s Automated Product Release (APR) capabilities being deployed across J&J manufacturing sites. The QCL Technology team in partnership with the J&J Technology Global Supply Chain organization has responsibility for delivery of the technology product portfolio that supports a variety of key QCL products and provides outstanding customer experience across multiple channels within J&J.
The E2E Quality Technical Product Owner for Automated Product Release will be a leader with a quality and patient‑centric mindset that will drive digital transformation and innovation in the Quality/Manufacturing APR space. This will require influencing technology strategic direction to shape the landscape of APR technology solutions while delivering on the vision and framework of the APR product group. This includes SAP Batch Release Hub, Supplier/CMO data/digital solutions, and scaling of APR capabilities across IM manufacturing sites. Key to success in this role is the ability to identify opportunities to transform the product release experience through the use of technology while improving the end‑to‑end product release lifecycle.
About Your Skills and Experience Experience and Skills:
Required:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required, MS and/or advanced degree is preferred
A minimum of 6 years of experience in managing technology platforms within Quality, Supply Chain, External Manufacturing, or a related area
Knowledge of external trends in supply chain, supplier quality, supplier experience, supplier collaboration, data and analytics, automation
Technology product strategy and road‑mapping experience
Experience effectively collaborating and managing stakeholder expectations
Ability to interact and influence cross sector, cross‑functionally and globally is required
Ability to synthesize external research and internal inputs into recommended technical strategies and investment decisions
Experience with AI (artificial intelligence) and data science model (machine learning and/or natural language processing) implementation
Experience in areas such as CAPA, Audit, Nonconformance, and other Quality Management processes
Proven track record collaborating with business partners to translate needs into relevant technology platforms, and solutions, while maintaining a prioritized product backlog and related release plans.
Productive experience with software testing, quality assurance (QA), and compliance requirements. such as FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11/Annex 11. within the life sciences/healthcare industry.
Deep understanding of software development lifecycle process (SDLC), and Agile (i.e. Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) methodologies including supporting tools like Jira and Confluence.
Ability to think strategically and tactically to resolve problems, prioritize, and balance multiple tasks.
Ability to stay up to date on technology trends to identify and evaluate new technologies that can be applied to Pharmaceutical Supply Chain/Quality.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical partners and to lead and empower teams, set the vision, drive technology strategy and roadmap, and build positive relationships.
Ability to work with global multi‑functional teams to deliver software projects on‑time and within budget.
Preferred Technology/System Knowledge:
Experience in Advanced Therapies industries, including gene and cell therapies.
Defined and deployed Machine Learning and artificial intelligence (ML/AI) solutions.
Strong financial acumen including business case development, business planning, value realization, and project capital appropriation requests.
Experience with Asset Management tools such ServiceNow
Experience with integration middleware/iPaaS technologies such as MuleSoft or SAP BTP IS
DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Other:
Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Role may require up to 20% travel.
