Job Requisition ID # 26WD94727 Responsibilities Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.

Develop and maintain the Build application, releasing new features including user interface, communication tools, and data processing workflows. Confer with project managers to analyze information on limitations or capabilities for current projects. Implement and test newly developed features. Develop and prioritize test procedures. Review source code in Pull-Request before merging them to control the quality of the app in root, and test features completed by members before sending to Quality Assurance process. Troubleshoot and fix software bugs. Proactively repair software defects internally before it is released to the customers to prevent widespread effects. Prioritize and resolve problems reported by customers in a timely manner. Provide Build subject matter expertise to the team for unique-case situations, answering technical questions, implementing workarounds for clients’ special requirements, and give bug workarounds in order to expedite customers’ work processes. Act as technical lead, using experience and historical knowledge of code to assist team members in defining and resolving difficult or emergency issues. Work with multiple stacks, specifically in a Kotlin Multi-Platform environment to harness both iOS and Android capabilities. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation.

Special Requirements

Utilize knowledge of iOS Development and Architectural Design to apply sophisticated architectural patterns, such as MVVM+C, MVP, and Clean Architecture, to ensure applications are scalable, maintainable, and efficient

Utilize knowledge of Software Solution Design and Analysis to craft innovative software solutions that address user needs

Utilize knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, SCM, and automation tools to support modern development practices and foster high-quality application development

Utilize knowledge of Agile Development Tools to develop agile and efficient processes which directly contribute to the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions

Utilize knowledge of Database Management and API Design to architect scalable, efficient data storage solutions and create seamless integration points for software applications

Utilize knowledge of software engineering principles to create applications employing advanced algorithms and system optimizations that enhance product functionality and user satisfaction

Utilize knowledge of Android and Cross-Platform Development Using Kotlin Multi-Platform to architect and implement shared logic layers that facilitate code reuse and consistency across platforms, significantly reducing development time and maintaining high-quality standards

Salary Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,585 - $194,600 per year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
