About the Role The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager at Maverick Power is responsible for overseeing the administration, optimization, and strategic use of HR systems to support business and workforce needs. This role ensures data integrity, system efficiency, and compliance while partnering with HR, IT, and business leaders to improve processes, reporting, and user experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the company’s HRIS platforms, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and optimal performance.

Serve as the primary HRIS subject matter expert and point of contact for system-related inquiries.

Lead system configurations, upgrades, testing, and implementations.

Partner with HR, IT, Payroll, and Finance to ensure seamless system integrations.

Develop and maintain HRIS documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures.

Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Create and deliver HR analytics, dashboards, and standard and ad hoc reports.

Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes through system automation and enhancements.

Support user training and provide ongoing system support to HR and business users.

Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external system providers.

Stay current on HR technology trends and recommend system improvements aligned with business needs.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience managing HRIS platforms and HR technology solutions.

Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, and system integrations.

Experience supporting payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and talent management systems.

Advanced reporting and data analysis skills.

Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally.

High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

HRIS or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/ SCP, PHR, or HRIS-specific certification).

Experience in manufacturing, energy, or power generation environments.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to twenty-five pounds at times.

May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
