Job Description
Detailed design of telecom tasks. Participate in studies. Estimate telecom tasks. Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries. Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages). Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility. Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier. Participate in inspections onshore/offshore. Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers. Perform as-built. Applications will be evaluated continuously Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore-related projects. Strong experience in engineering design. Proficiency in Norwegian, both spoken and written. Alternatively, strong English skills, both spoken and written. Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR (Technical Requirements), STID, ProCoSys, ARIS. Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/M&M). Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry. Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecom/Instrumentation/Automation Hardware. Alternatively, a Technical College degree with extensive experience in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry. Valid offshore and health certificate. Grunnleggende EX kurs.
