Job Summary The Director of Nursing assumes overall responsibility for the implementation of the vision, mission, plans and standards of the organization and patient care services within their defined areas of responsibility. Specific duties include management and evaluation of clinical operations, customer and staff satisfaction, quality management, standards, certification and accreditation activities, professional practice activities, nursing staff education, and developing community relationships. The role reports to the Executive Director or Deputy Director of Nursing and provides latitude Belediye initiative and independent judgment.
Minimum Qualifications Registered Nurse, current New York State license and registration required. B.S.N required. Master’s degree required. Minimum of 7 years post-licensure acute care nursing experience including 5 years of nursing management experience in a health‑care environment which encompasses medical staff relationships, health planning, quality management, and human resource development and management. Effective leadership, organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills required. Nurse executive certification to be obtained within 2 years of hire.
Preferred Qualifications MBA or master’s in healthcare administration. Project management, capital planning, health‑care data analytics preferred.
Work Days Monday‑Friday days.
