Essential Functions

Program Execution:

Lead activities, supervise outings, and maintain "Life Stations" specifically for Memory Care residents.

Planning & Assessment:

Complete resident wellness assessments upon move-in and contribute to the monthly engagement calendar and newsletter.

Operations:

Maintain activity inventory, organize communal spaces, and manage volunteer records.

Team Support:

Prepare materials for other staff members and participate in monthly department conference calls.

Flexibility:

Adapt to a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts.

Required Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or GED.

Experience:

1–2 years of experience working with the elderly.

Licensing:

Must obtain a

chauffeur’s license

within 30 days of hire; requires a clean driving record and proof of insurance.

Technical:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, iPads, and internet applications.

Key Skills & Demands

Communication:

Strong written and verbal English skills; ability to lead group presentations.

Physical:

Regularly required to stand, walk, and reach; must be able to lift up to

50 lbs .

Attributes:

Compassionate, organized, and patient, with a strong commitment to senior care and confidentiality.

Environment:

Primarily indoor/climate-controlled; involves frequent interaction with residents and families under stress.
