Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and training to information systems personnel.
Review, implement, update, and document companywide information systems policies and procedures.
Direct day-to-day operations and maintenance of the firm’s information systems.
Collaborate with network engineers, architects and other team members on the implementation, testing, deployment and integration of information systems.
Provide reports to IT management regarding information system performance, utilization and compliance.
Manage and mentor a staff of information systems engineers.
Make recommendations to the Executive Management team on protocols and processes for keeping the information systems optimized and secure.
Participating in the annual budget process.
Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of IT systems management experience.
Minimum 2 years of previous leadership experience required.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and applicable government regulations.
Familiarity with compliance standards, cybersecurity protocols, and enterprise IT best practices.
Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments and vendors.
Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s)
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field is required. Commesurate experience will be considered.
Must hold at least two current certifications from the following list (not all are required): Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert, VCP (VMware Certified Professional) or VCAP (VMware Certified Advanced Professional).
