Position Summary WID is looking for a Residential Services Manager with a steady, grounded, and accountable demeanor and a passion for the organization’s mission. The Residential Services Manager will work in collaboration with the Residential Leadership Team to provide leadership and supervision of advocates and support staff to ensure quality of services and shelter operations, as well as the safety and well‑being of survivors of domestic violence and their families.
Days/Hours Saturday to Wednesday, 2:00 pm–11:00 pm, Exempt. This position requires candidates to have scheduling flexibility as needed to support the team and meet the needs of this agency. May be required to be available and remain onsite to assist during emergencies and other critical times.
Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
3–5 years of experience in residential services, domestic violence services, or a related human services setting.
1–2 years of supervisory experience in a fast‑paced or crisis‑driven environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call coverage.
Basic computer proficiency (case management systems, Microsoft Office).
Valid Florida driver’s license. Safe driving record. Proof of Automobile Liability Insurance.
Essential Job Functions
Lead and supervise residential advocates and support staff to ensure quality services and safe shelter operations.
Provide daily oversight of residential services and operational activities.
Collaborate with the Director of Residential Services and leadership team to support program goals.
Ensure compliance and quality through data review, file audits, and performance improvement efforts.
Complete grant and quarterly performance reporting requirements.
Maintain flexibility in scheduling and provide on‑call coverage as needed.
Additional Notes
Employee will be required to take the Department of Children and Families (DCF) Core Competency training and obtain a passing grade of 75% or higher.
If selected, candidate will be required to undergo a Department of Children and Families (DCF) Level II background screening (https://info.flclearinghouse.com).
