Job Summary and Responsibilities Mercy Medical Group (MMG)
is seeking a board-certified / board-eligible, skilled, and compassionate Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to join our dynamic healthcare team in Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will specialize in diagnosing and treating children with developmental, behavioral, and emotional disorders. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children with developmental and behavioral concerns, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, and emotional disturbances.
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Provide ongoing management and follow-up care for children with chronic developmental and behavioral conditions.
Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers regarding behavioral strategies, educational resources, and community services.
Collaborate with schools, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
Stay current with research and best practices in developmental and behavioral pediatrics to provide evidence-based care.
Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote awareness of developmental and behavioral health issues.
Job Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics; subspecialty certification in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics preferred.
Valid medical license to practice in California.
Strong clinical skills with experience in developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, families, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families.

MMG is a large multi-specialty medical group of 500+ providers comprised of primary care physicians, specialists in more than 30 medical and surgical specialties, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
