Senior AI Engineer
to lead the development and deployment of an upcoming machine learning solutions project with our federal client in
Sterling, VA.
The candidate will bridge the gap between complex research and production‑grade software, mentoring junior team members while architecting end‑to‑end AI systems that solve real‑world business challenges.
Note:
Due to federal contract requirements, this position is restricted to U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.
Job Location:
Sterling, VA (Onsite)
Technical Requirements:
3–5+ years in software or ML engineering
Strong track record of leading end‑to‑end AI/ML projects and mentoring junior team members
Proficient in Python programming
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs)
Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Experience building and managing data pipelines
Hands‑on experience deploying models to production using SageMaker, Vertex AI, or custom APIs (FastAPI, TorchServe)
Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Critical thinking and ability to translate business needs into AI solutions
Experience with LLMs Antigua generative AI
Knowledge of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques
Open‑source contributions to AI/ML projects
Domain expertise in finance, healthcare, or recommendation systems
