As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. This role requires driving, so a valid driver’s license is necessary.

What You'll Do

Monitor and control access points to help deter unauthorized entry within the manufacturing and industrial location.

Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises, following site-specific protocols.

Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and procedures.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions.

Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.

Maintain detailed records of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.

Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
