Find your next opportunity today!**Description of Work**The Deputy Director will provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day operations of the Rural Health Transformation Project (RHTP) under the direction of the RHTP Director, ensuring the successful implementation of six major initiatives aligned with federal and state regulations, agency goals, and measurable outcomes. Acting with delegated authority, the Deputy Director will supervise up to 80 staff and drive program success through strategic leadership, operational oversight, and continuous performance monitoring.
The Deputy Director will oversee the implementation of all RHTP activities in compliance with federal and state laws, CMS requirements, and agency policies, serving as the primary liaison with CMS for reporting, performance monitoring, and grant compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely completion of all grant requirements and reports, as well as representing the program by presenting achievements and outcomes.
In addition, the Deputy Director will ensure effective allocation of resources across all RHTP activities. Responsibilities include directing budget streams, procurement processes, and fiscal reporting to support program sustainability, accountability, and operational excellence.**Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences****This position is designated as Exempt Managerial.****Salary Recruitment Range: $73,096 to $142,538***Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.**The Knowledge Skills and Abilities/ Management Preferences are not required.
