Radiation Oncologist Opportunity Location: Orland Park, Illinois Position Type: Full-Time

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Orland Park invites applications for a full-time radiation oncologist to join our multidisciplinary cancer care team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high growth, nationally recognized department that integrates technology, compassionate and innovative clinical care. The Orland Park practice has an excellent support team, two (2) radiation oncologists with 1 (soon to be 2) Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and provides advanced radiation oncology services such as theranostics.

Position Summary The selected candidate will provide excellent radiation oncology care, including diagnosis, patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up management. In addition, the candidate will:

Provide comprehensive radiation oncology services for patients with various cancer diagnoses.

Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physicists, radiation therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Participate actively in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning.

Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout the treatment process.

Maintain excellence in patient satisfaction, clinical efficiency and interdepartmental collaboration.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Radiation Oncology residency.

Board Certification or Eligibility in Radiation Oncology.

Strong interpersonal communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range: $450,000-$600,000, reflecting experience, qualifications, internal comparators, and external market benchmarks.
