As a
Security Officer
at Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests, colleagues and visitors. Your presence will support the overall guest experience through proactive safety measures, conflict resolution, and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Monitor hotel premises via patrols and surveillance systems to ensure safety and security
Respond quickly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances
Assist with crowd control, lost and found, and access control
Complete detailed reports on incidents, accidents, and daily activities
Provide excellent service and support to guests and colleagues in a courteous and helpful manner
Enforce hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
Assist with fire drills, evacuation procedures and first aid as needed

Qualifications

Proficient in basic computer skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Refined verbal and written communication skills
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Prior experience in security preferred
Previous hospitality experience is a plus
