The Work Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Kubernetes Microservices Software Developer and Integrator. In this role, you will perform tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience with Kubernetes, Bash and/or Python, and Linux.

This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related discipline and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent education/professional experience.

Experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and containerized legacy applications on Kubernetes clusters.

Strong background integrating containerized components within Kubernetes orchestration environments.

Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K3s) and related tooling.

Hands‑on experience with Helm for packaging and managing Kubernetes applications.

Solid expertise in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting.

Experience with Bash and/or Python.

Desired Skills

Experience in DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.

Experience with C++ and Java software development.

Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret.
