DESCRIPTION Working under general supervision, Central Equipment Service Tech I is responsible and accountable for all activities and competencies related to equipment and supply inventory for nursing units in various locations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supply inventory and management, equipment inventory management, Real Time Location System support, and related administrative support. Performs other responsibilities as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Six (6) months of recent Central Service operations or Equipment Management experience in a healthcare setting.
Excellent interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, flexibility and professionalism dealing with staff and visitors.
Proficient computer skills (e.g., MS-Office, Excel, Word, i-Share base programs).
Proven knowledge and ability to effectively work in and facilitate a team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with managing equipment and supplies.
Experience working with vendors.
Experience working with patient charging methods.
Experience working with RTLS or equipment tracking method.
Large healthcare complex experience.
Experience using and maintaining a database and spreadsheets.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $50,446 - $62,744 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $24.16 - $30.05
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
