Diesel Mechanic – Full-Time
Express Employment is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to service and repair diesel engines, heavy‑duty vehicles, and shop equipment, as well as dismantle salvage components for resale.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections
Service hydraulic, fuel, and exhaust after‑treatment systems
Dismantle salvage vehicles and prepare parts for resale
Operate shop equipment and perform light welding/fabrication
Requirements
2 years diesel mechanic experience (medium/heavy truck or equipment preferred)
High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred
ASE certifications a plus
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions
Valid driver’s license
