Overview What We’re Doing

Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The Work The Project Engineer will work with SE&V Leadership to manage, coordinate, and oversee EVMS for the cross Agile Release Train and Cross Functional Product Team efforts associated with SE&V contract proposals and Mods. In this role the selected candidate will support the planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for changes, ECPs and other customer engineering estimate requests. This individual will support development of SE&V IMS objective evidence, the collection of IMS status accounting, support monthly ETC/EAC analysis and VAR explanations and will support cross spiral de‑confliction, cross Functional Area coordination, and schedule/resource issue resolution.

The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications

A final secret clearance is required prior to starting

CAM/EVMS experience

Project Management experience

Understanding of the Systems Engineering Life Cycle

Systems Engineering and Verification experience

Experience in developing and managing project teams and schedules

Experience in the Development Lifecycle

Desired Skills

Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS)

Agile Methodology

Risk and Opportunity knowledge

Strong communication skills

Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to Work Remotely Onsite Full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Washington State PTO and Hours Non‑represented full‑time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full‑time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Incentive Plan This position is incentive plan eligible.
