Logistics Coordinator The Role The Logistics Coordinator for the Refractory Divisions (Terresis | MAGNA) manages the domestic distribution of products across the United States. This role ensures on-time, compliant, and cost-effective delivery from warehouse to customer. Key functions include managing truck shipments, overseeing inter-warehouse transfers, and handling customer invoicing. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate tracking of batch numbers and inventory levels at both warehouses and consignment customer locations.
Responsibilities
Work closely with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to track shipments and resolve delivery or documentation issues
Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding shipment status, delivery coordination, and issue resolution
Record and track batch numbers for all outbound shipments to ensure full product traceability
Setting up deliveries
Prepare and issue customer invoices in coordination with the finance team
Record and track inventory on a monthly basis
Travel requirement, expectation of attending a couple of events per year
Who you are
You have at least 2 years of experience in the logistics or supply chain world.
