Supply Chain Manager | Montague, MI
Salary Range:
$98,000 - $145,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies for manufacturing operations.
Manage procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management for raw materials and components.
Optimize inventory levels to ensure material availability for production while minimizing holding costs and waste.
Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, and transportation to ensure efficient material flow.
Collaborate with production planning to synchronize material supply with manufacturing schedules and demand forecasts.
Monitor and analyze key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier disruptions and market volatility.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for planning, procurement, and inventory control.
Proven ability to implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills for vendor management and team leadership.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain analytics
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and circular economy principles
