Restorative Nurse – RN or LPN

Position Summary The
Restorative Nurse – RN or LPN
is responsible for coordinating and supervising restorative nursing programs in accordance with facility policies and procedures. This role ensures efficient department operations while maintaining compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, standards, and protocols.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:
Completion of a recognized
Restorative Nursing Program
or willingness to complete
Current
RN or LPN license
in accordance with state requirements
Minimum of
two (2) years of nursing experience
Current
BCLS certification
Key Responsibilities As a skilled and compassionate Restorative Nurse (RN or LPN), you will:
Develop and implement restorative services using
person-centered care principles
Coordinate and supervise restorative programs in compliance with facility policies
Conduct restorative assessments to determine resident needs
Complete
MDS assessments
related to restorative services
Create and maintain individualized restorative plans of care
Coordinate restorative schedules and programs with therapy services
Educate and communicate restorative programs to the nursing team
Oversee and schedule restorative programs based on resident needs
Review fall assessments, reports, interventions, and care plans
Review bowel and bladder assessments, interventions, and care planning
