Description ctlp> The Injection Molding Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production. This role supports production uptime, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing operation, including the support for Tool Room equipment as required. Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, CNC Milling machines, robots, dryers, chillers, conveyors, and other auxiliary equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime across molding and Tool Room operations
Diagnose machine faults and implement timely repairs to restore production
Support mold changeovers and startup activities as needed
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment documentation
Ensure machines operate within safety, quality, and process standards
Collaborate with Production, Processing, Tool room, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues
Assist with installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment
Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and cost savings
Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and company guidelines
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or trade certification preferred
2+ years of experience maintaining injection molding equipment and/or industrial manufacturing equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Experience with robots, hot runners, temperature controllers, and material handling equipment
Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and technical manuals
Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
