What You’ll Do
Proactively contact members with delinquent or negative accounts to understand their situation and identify solutions
Negotiate payments, repayment plans, extensions, refinances, or consolidations in the best interest of both the member and the organization
Locate members when contact information has changed to maintain communication
Counsel members experiencing financial hardship with professionalism and empathy
Monitor risk and delinquency reports and escape high-risk or questionable accounts as needed
Recommend risk-mitigation actions such as securing loans or adjusting account services
Obtain proof of insurance when CPI has been added
Promote and cross-sell products and services when appropriate
Maintain confidentiality, strong internal controls, and compliance with all policies, including BSA and OFAC requirements
Represent the organization professionally at all times and support team initiatives
Occasionally travel to other locations, training, or organizational functions

What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent
Consumer loan collections experience preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Comfort with basic financial calculations (percentages, interest, ratios)
