Role description
We are looking for a
Flavour Analyst / chemical laboratory technician
(ideally with experience in flavour analytics). You will be a key contact for our Flavourists and support R&D through the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of flavour samples, with a focus on volatile compounds for flavour matching. You are a knowledgeable, hardworking, and creative individual who wants to grow with us and contribute to building a solid foundation for our new company.
Minimum Qualifications
Completed vocational training as Chemical Laboratory Technician / Chemical-Technical Assistant
Ideally 2 years of relevant lab experience (preferably in flavours, food, beverages, or chemicals) • Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography, especially GC (GC–MS preferred) and/or HPLC
Structured, independent way of working, reliability and strong organizational skills
Good Microsoft Office 365 skills (especially Excel)
German and English B2 Level

Understanding of flavour composition and aroma profiles
Experience working closely with R&D, or flavour creation teams
Your Mission As a Chemical-Technical Assistant / Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will be part of our Quality Control (or Analytical Laboratories) team, serving as the direct contact person for our Flavorists and supporting the R&D team by mixing and analyzing flavors. Your tasks will vary daily depending on internal and external requirements and include:
Analysis of raw materials, flavours, and finished products, with a focus on volatile aroma compounds
Support of flavour matching/reconstruction by preparing samples, comparing profiles, and helping interpret results for the Flavourists
Instrumental analysis using GC–MS and HPLC. Independent evaluation and documentation of results.
Operation, routine checks, and contribution to maintenance of laboratory instruments
