Premier Urgent Care is seeking an experienced, reliable, and patient-focused Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care team in Beaumont TX. This position provides full-scope, walk-in medical care, including occupational health services, hydration therapy and managed weight loss programs.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an urgent care and occupational medicine environment
Perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, splinting, wound care, and foreign body removal
Manage care for patients across all age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics
Interpret X-rays and point-of-care lab tests
Provide clear and concise patient communication and education
Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system
Code and bill services appropriatelyMeet productivity expectations consistent with urgent care standards
Uphold legal, ethical, and professional practice standards
Required Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Texas PA or NP license
Active DEA (or ability to obtain prior to start)
National certification:
NCCPA for Physician Assistants
AANP/ANCC for Nurse Practitioners (FNP required for all-ages care)
Active BLS certification
Experience treating all age ranges
Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
Availability to work weekends and holidays
Preferred skills:
Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience
Confident procedural skill set
Experience with initial X-ray interpretation
Master's degree in applicable field (PA preferred for PAs)
