This position is located in the Licensing Division Section, Financial Management Division, Ofc, Assistant Register & Dir Operations, Copyright Office.
The position serves as the Chief, Licensing Section, Financial Management Division (FMD), Assistant Register and Director of Operations (ARDO) within the United States Copyright Office (USCO) at the Library of Congress (LC) and reports to the Chief, FMD.
The position is responsible for administering the statutory licenses in accordance with the Copyright Act, as amended, (Title 17 of the United States Code), and the Copyright Office regulations.
Oversees the examination and information requirements for the Licensing Section, evaluates the program, policies, procedures and communicates information about the program and provides support, advice, and counsel for a sound fiscal program that invests and disperses royalties.
Responsible for ensuring that all section staff provide proper handling and security of Library and Copyright Office materials.
