A progressive veterinary practice is looking for a dedicated Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its expanding team in Tucson, Arizona. This role is ideal for a doctor who excels in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys treating urgent, non‑critical cases with efficiency and compassion. You’ll have the opportunity to focus solely on urgent care while working with advanced diagnostic tools and a highly skilled support staff.
Key Responsibilities
Provide timely, high‑quality medical care for pets with urgent health needs
Diagnose and treat acute conditions for canine and feline patients
Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners about treatment options and care plans
Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional service
Maintain thorough and accurate medical records while upholding high clinical standards
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college (or international equivalent)
Active or obtainable veterinary license in Arizona
Strong clinical judgment and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care
