Role Overview

Responsibilities
The Immunization Specialist develops and maintains specialized expertise in vaccine therapeutic areas, products, and markets.
Demonstrates knowledge of GSK vaccines, competitive products, and GSK promotional strategies that meet customer needs.
Shows high‑level selling skills, including account‑based selling, strategic thinking, drive for results, and the ability to ask for business.
Provides value to each targeted account by blending science and service based on individual needs.
Follows public health guidelines and uses the vaccines sales process to engage customers and support vaccination or referral of patients.
Drives vaccination uptake in both private and public (Vaccines for Children) sector providers.
Collaborates with account managers and retail channel managers to pull GSK vaccine business through the broader field‑based teams.
Utilizes and provides feedback on marketing content and digital tools to optimize and evolve them.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum 2 years of business‑to‑business or pharmaceutical sales experience.
Ability to travel domestically as necessary.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive or operate a vehicle.
Candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience:
Immunization Specialist (grade 8) : Minimum 2 years of business‑to‑business or pharmaceutical sales experience.
Senior Immunization Specialist (grade 7) : 5+ years of business‑to‑business or pharmaceutical sales experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong track record of high‑level performance and consistent achievements.
Demonstrated learning agility.
Minimum 2 years of vaccine sales experience.
Advanced nursing degree (MSN, RN, LPN) or other healthcare qualification and experience.
Demonstrated competency of science, business acumen, and customer engagement.
Strong account selling skills, including business‑to‑business experience in a healthcare‑related market.
Location This is a field‑based position. The percentage of travel will be determined by customer location in relation to the geographic location of the successful candidate.
