RINA is currently recruiting for a
CAD Mechanical Design Engineer
to join its office in Naples within the
Mechanical and Materials Engineering
Division.
Mission We are looking for a CAD Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team supporting projects in the defense sector in Naples. The selected candidate will contribute to the design and development of complex mechanical assemblies, ensuring compliance with technical standards and company processes.
Key Accountabilities The resource will be responsible for creating and managing 3D models and 2D drawings using PTC CREO and/or CATIA V5, handling construction documentation according to both STD and MBD methodologies, and managing Bills of Materials within Windchill PLM. The role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and develop complex mechanical assemblies (e.g., shelters, racks, integrated units).
Apply knowledge of materials technologies to ensure manufacturability and performance.
Prepare and release construction documentation in compliance with UNI-ISO standards.
Manage product data and Bills of Materials using Windchill PLM.
Participate in design reviews and support implementation of design changes.
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace.
1-3 years of work experience.
