Functional Title: DevOps Data Warehouse Analyst Job Title: Systems Analyst V Department: IT Operations-Operating Computer and Mathematical Shift: Day Additional Shift: Telework: Eligible for Telework Travel: Up to 15% Regular/Temporary: Full Time/Part Time: Full time Facility Location: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support and enhance our cloud and data ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure services and data platforms, with experience in CI/CD, automation, and cloud migrations. This is a technical position in the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Information Technology Services (ITS) DevOps team. This also includes release management, change management, managing builds and deployments, system administration, and documentation. The Systems Analyst V position works directly with other DevOps team members, and collaborates closely with all stakeholders including project managers, testing teams, and management to coordinate the on-time and quality release of software to production. The Systems Analyst IV position will manage the software development life cycle (SDLC) systems and processes, manage the build and deployment systems, document changes and processes, record change approvals, and provide release coordination. The applicant should also have a technical understanding and prior experience working in a software development setting. This position works with minimal supervision and reports to the DevOps Manager. Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure services, Azure IAM, Azure Data Factory (ADF) • Experience with Azure Database offerings. • Experience with Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and automation. • Good understanding of Azure Databricks for data engineering and analytics workflows • Deployment exposure with SalesForce and MuleSoft environments.• Hands-on experience with Informatica Data Governance and Informatica MDM • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices in cloud environments • Familiarity with ServiceNow for access requests and Jira for test/issue tracking • Ensuring all lead-up tasks to deployments and post-deployment are verified and completed • Administrating the developer test environments on Linux, Unix, and Windows Server • Utilizing monitoring, automation, and SDLC-management tools to ensure applications are functional • Working to contribute to and develop build and deployment tools and scripts Exposure to on-prem to cloud migration processes • Knowledge of general processes and workflows for enterprise IT operations and DevOps • Knowledge of working in a software development setting, or closely related field • Knowledge of working with Linux-based systems • Skilled in using Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint • Ability to analyze systems, processes, and procedures to revise and document standards as needed • Registrations, Licensure Requirements or Certifications Graduation from a four-year accredited College or University with a degree in computer science or a related field. • Work experience as developer, system analyst, DevOps analyst, or related field may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis. • Two years of experience working with Microsoft Azure Services.
