Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a skilled administrative assistant to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this contract position, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations and ensuring seamless administrative processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong computer and customer service skills, and is comfortable performing tasks that require mobility around the Tenderloin area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing schedules, handling correspondence, and organizing documentation.
  • Conduct mail runs and other errands within the Tenderloin area as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with auditing processes to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communication between departments, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
  • Support the team in executing community initiatives and events by organizing logistics and resources.
  • Assist with tenant-related activities, including following up on benefits and rent payments.
  • Respond to tenant concerns and collaborate with hotel staff to address issues effectively.
  • Utilize strong computer skills to manage data entry and maintain digital files.
  • Participate in regular meetings and contribute to the planning and execution of administrative projects.
  • Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in computer systems, including ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to interact effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Comfortable performing tasks that require walking and mobility in the Tenderloin area.
  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably in a similar environment.
  • Knowledge of auditing processes and background checks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with benefit functions and communication tools.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
