Join to apply for the Administrative Assistant role in the Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA) organization.
Overview (SPA) delivers high-impact technical solutions to national security issues and works with leaders in the U.S. and abroad. The Strategic Division supports high-reliability programs such as the Navy Strategic Systems Programs, allowing opportunities to influence critical U.S. government initiatives.
Location Maritime Plaza, Washington, D.C. (Monday?Friday, full?time).
Compensation & Benefits Competitive base pay plus variable performance compensation. Eligible employees may enroll in health, flexible spending, HSA, retirement, life, disability, and paid/unpaid time?off programs. Salary range: $100,000 $150,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Provide high?level administrative and operational support to senior leadership within the SLCM?N program.
- Manage complex schedules: coordinate meetings, briefings, travel, and critical deadlines.
- Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documentation for accuracy and compliance with SSP standards.
- Act as liaison between the program office and internal/external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
- Maintain program documentation, track sensitive information and handle data management tasks.
- Handle sensitive and classified information responsibly in compliance with security protocols.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Current SECRET clearance; eligibility to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelors degree.
- 510 years of administrative experience supporting senior?level positions with strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and standard office tools.
- Experience working in Washington, D.C. at Maritime Plaza (Monday?Friday).
Desired Qualifications
- Current TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience in government, Navy, or DoD environments.
- Familiarity with Department of Defense protocols.
