Job Summary The Mobile Tester is responsible for validating the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications across web and mobile platforms. This role supports projects within State Medicaid / Integrated Eligibility environments and focuses on ensuring applications meet functional, technical, and business requirements through comprehensive testing practices. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test scripts and test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Perform end-to-end, functional, and regression testing to validate application behavior.
- Execute testing across multiple platforms and environments, including web browsers and mobile devices.
- Perform testing on iOS and Android mobile applications to ensure consistency and usability.
- Validate actual outcomes against expected results and document findings.
- Log, track, and manage defects using test management or defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Support testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ensure testing coverage aligns with project standards and delivery timelines.
- Proven experience developing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Hands-on experience performing functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience testing applications across multiple platforms, including:
- Various web browsers
- iOS and Android devices
- Experience logging and managing defects using defect tracking or test management tools.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and methodologies.
- Previous experience supporting a State Medicaid or Integrated Eligibility project.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with mobile test automation tools or frameworks.
- Experience supporting public sector or government healthcare systems.
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development environments.
- Experience testing large-scale or enterprise applications.
