Assembler/Tester Technician Opportunity
We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Assembler/Tester Technician to join a leading company located in the Dublin, GA surrounding area. US citizenship is required. Responsibilities include accurately and efficiently assembling/testing products to achieve customer quality and on-time delivery schedules. You may perform lock wiring, first stage subassembly, and final detailing functions on routine assignments requiring limited judgment. You will actively contribute to lean initiatives to increase productivity and reduce costs. You will receive direct supervisory guidance and perform basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment. You will record test results on data forms using basic electrical equipment and flow meters. You will interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives. You will produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications. You will assemble/test to customer and/or industry standards. You will perform touch-up or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, glaze, etc. You will mix paint and clean parts. You will actively participate in lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement. You will observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area. You will ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with the calibration schedule.
Basic hiring criteria include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum two or more years of manufacturing experience, including assembly, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions, the ability to calculate basic shop math, and the ability to use a computer. Desired qualifications include post-secondary education electronics technology preferred, solder experience, and military connected talent encouraged to apply.
