Accounting Bookkeeper Part?time (On?site, Montecito, CA)

This is a part?time on?site role for an Accounting Bookkeeper at Coastal Properties. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing journal entries, and utilizing accounting software to track and process transactions. The position also involves reconciling accounts, assisting in financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly financial statements.
  • Record and review journal entries using accounting software.
  • Reconcile bank and credit?card statements to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with financial reporting and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Track and process day?to?day transactions efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Experience preparing financial statements and managing finance?related tasks.
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and entering journal entries.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ability to use it effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time?management abilities.
  • Background in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

Schedule & Compensation
  • On?site; approximately 2025 hours per week (minimum of 3 days a week or 4 hours five days a week).
  • Sick and vacation hours accrue in accordance with the personnel policy.
