The Role

We are seeking an Accounting Associate with direct homebuilding experience to support daily and monthly accounting operations across multiple projects and legal entities. This role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger, managing reconciliations, and supporting treasury, intercompany, and fixed asset activity.

This is a higher-level accounting position that partners closely with accounting leadership and cross?functional teams to support month?end close, variance analysis, and financial reporting in a fast?paced, project?driven environment.

What Youll Do
  • Perform bank, balance sheet, and loan statement reconciliations
  • Prepare journal entries, including interest and intercompany entries
  • Track fixed assets and depreciation
  • Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances across multiple projects/entities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and month?end close processes
  • Maintain internal controls and assist with audits or special projects
  • What You Bring (Required)
    • 35 years of accounting experience within a homebuilding environment (required)
    • Hands?on experience with:
    • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
    • Intercompany transactions across multiple entities
    • General ledger and variance analysis
    • Journal entries, including interest and loan activity
    • Fixed asset tracking and depreciation
    • Experience supporting multiple projects or companies simultaneously
    • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
    • Experience with BRIX and/or BuildPro strongly preferred
    • Detail?oriented, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
