By examining our own beliefs and behaviors, we can create change through training, recruiting, and promoting diverse talent to strengthen our culture./ppstrongWhat You Do Each Day:/strong/ppstrongBilling Invoicing/strong/pulliPrepare and issue invoices for group bookings, events, corporate accounts, and direct billing clients./liliReview daily transactions, folios, and charges for accuracy before posting./liliEnsure proper coding and documentation for all receivables./li/ulpstrongPayments Collections/strong/pulliApply payments, deposits, credit card charges, and wire transfers to the appropriate accounts./liliMonitor aging reports and follow up on past-due balances professionally./liliCommunicate with clients regarding outstanding invoices and payment arrangements./li/ulpstrongReconciliation Reporting/strong/pulliReconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for./liliPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly A/R reports and statements./liliAssist with month-end closing and revenue reconciliation./li/ulpstrongGuest Client Support/strong/pulliResolve billing inquiries or disputes promptly and courteously./liliCoordinate with Sales, Front Office, Events, and Finance to verify charges and documentation./liliMaintain strong relationships with corporate clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders./li/ulpstrongCompliance Recordkeeping/strong/pulliMaintain organized financial files and documentation per company and brand standards./liliEnsure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements./liliSafeguard sensitive financial information and follow confidentiality protocols./li/ulpstrongDoes this sound like you?/strong/pulli12 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience, preferably in hospitality./liliStrong knowledge of billing procedures, folio management, and payment applications./liliProficiency with hotel PMS and accounting software (e.g., Opera, Delphi, M3, Sage, or similar)./liliHigh attention to detail, accuracy, and organization./liliExcellent communication and customer service skills./liliAbility to manage deadlines and multiple tasks./liliHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred./liliAbility to sit for extended periods and work at a computer./liliOccasionally lift or move files or office supplies up to 20 lbs./li/ulpEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/ppThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
