Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Project Manager with strong experience in IT Security and Cybersecurity to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of security-focused technology initiatives. This role is responsible for managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with security engineers and stakeholders, and ensuring that all projects align with organizational security standards, compliance requirements, and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory frameworks, paired with strong project management discipline.

Responsibilities:

• End-to-end project management for cybersecurity initiatives, including security tool implementations, vulnerability remediation programs, identity/access management upgrades, and compliance-driven projects.
• Partner with InfoSec, IT, engineering, and business teams to define scope, milestones, timelines, and resource needs.
• Oversee cybersecurity risk assessments, control implementation, patch management cycles, and incident response improvements.
• Ensure project alignment with frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and organizational security policies.
• Develop detailed project plans, RAID logs, dashboards, and executive updates to ensure visibility and transparency.
• Coordinate vendor relationships related to security technologies, including contract management and evaluation of third-party risk.
• Facilitate UAT/QA testing, documentation, and project handoff to operations teams.
• Track KPIs and ensure successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Promote strong governance, compliance, and secure-by-design project practices.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of project management experience in IT, with direct exposure to cybersecurity initiatives.
• Familiarity with InfoSec frameworks, vulnerability management, IAM, endpoint security, and cloud security.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• PMP, CISSP, CISM, Security+, or similar certifications are a plus.
