Job Summary
The Philadelphia Wings are seeking a creative and detail-oriented student who continually strives to exceed expectations and has a strong understanding of various aspects in graphic design, and content creation. The Graphic Design Intern will be responsible for immersing themselves into the Wings brand, assisting with content creation, and all creative endeavors across the Philadelphia Wings' digital platforms. Job Description Responsibilities
- Assist in designing graphics for digital and print materials, including social media, web, email, and event signage
- Support the development of creative concepts for campaigns, events and initiatives.
- Maintain brand consistency across all creative projects
- Collaborate with marketing, communications and other departments to fulfill design needs
- Assist with photography, editing and shooting on game day and internal events
- Organize, label and manage assets on the existing media management system
- Assist with department administration functions as necessary
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Must be a college junior, senior, or graduate student pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing or closely related field (This internship is PAID, however housing/transportation are the intern's responsibility)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of visual composition, aesthetics, layout, typography and branding
- Availability to deliver static content pieces with dynamic storytelling
- Must demonstrate strong creative skills and conceptualization to production
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while working effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated communicator who follows direction and functions will in a dynamic environment
- Prior experience and understanding of working within brand guidelines and style guides
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with different design formats for all digital platforms; Instagram. Facebook, X, YouTube
- Familiarity with current social media trends
- Passion for sports and creative mindset
- Having your own camera equipment is preferred, but not necessary
