Dry Dock/Waterfront Front Line Supervisor

The Dry Dock/Waterfront Front Line Supervisor will be responsible for the crew and maintenance of systems on Floating Drydock #3. Reporting to the Dockmaster for the day-to-day management of a multi-disciplinary crew conducting maintenance, repair, and operation of BIWs Floating Dry Dock #3. Shall act as a backup for the Dockmaster when he is not present, overseeing waterfront safety and operations within the shipyard. Applicants must be able and willing to work and train towards certification as a floating dry dock FOS IAW USN MILSTD 1625D. Ability to self-manage and take initiative; must be a self-starter requiring limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Leadership: Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
• Provide advice on waterfront safety as a subject matter expert. Contribute to attainment of company safety goals.

Responsibilities:

• Associates or Bachelors Degree in a STEM related field preferred.
• Unlimited 3/AE Engineer or 3/M license issued by USCG preferred.
