Your role and responsibilities
Provide support to manufacturing operations of the plant.
Process design, tooling design, and capital project design and implementation.
Work instruction documentation, production and maintenance support.
Plan and execute engineering projects involving equipment, tooling, and process improvements, ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.
Manage capital projects from justification (CAPR) through procurement, installation, programming, training, documentation, and production support within budget constraints.
Coordinate project resources and design reviews, overseeing technical studies, specifications, layouts, and product testing for efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to determine equipment specifications, secure quotes, manage tooling supplies, and optimize manufacturing capabilities and processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required), with a minimum of 2 years experience (preferred).
Ability to gather and analyze information to develop solutions and strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Preferred experience: 5+ years in manufacturing process review/development, strong understanding of lean process improvements, experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC and computer controls, AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks modeling software, Lean Six Sigma and/or PMP certifications.
Candidates must already have work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the US.
