Job Responsibilities:- Provide hospital support for OB and GYN patients in a busy inpatient setting.
- Deliver collaborative care alongside community health care partners and midwives.
- Manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly in a high-volume environment.
- Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery, OB/GYN triage, and ER calls as needed.
- Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients.
- Perform daily rounding on post-operative and post-partum patients.
- Participate in a collaborative care model to enhance patient safety and community health.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesia, NICU, and midwives.
- Support and enhance hospital protocols during the launch of 24-hour in-house coverage.
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (required).
- Iowa license or willingness to obtain (required).
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) is required.
- Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
- No current malpractice cases that require supervision.
- Board Certified in OB/GYN.
- State of Iowa license (or eligible to obtain).
- H1B and J1 visa support available for qualifying candidates.
