Seeking an Attorney to handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Responsibilities
* Handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation
* Serve as lead or first-chair trial counsel when required
* Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy, status, and outcomes
* Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel on claims, demands, and settlement offers
* Prepare cases for trial and represent clients in court proceedings
* Collaborate with team members while managing cases independently
Requirements & Skills
* Full-time, in-office position
* Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
* 6+ years of litigation experience
* 5 or more jury trials as first chair (preferred)
* Active member of the Georgia Bar, in good standing
* Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
* Strong ability to evaluate claims and assess case value
* Excellent negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills
* Proactive, solution-oriented mindset
* Ability to work independently while remaining team-oriented
