Ferman Service Departments function on a team-based system where you'll work simultaneously alongside other team members on a single vehicle with the goal of providing our Guests accurate auto service and repair, on time and within budget. Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 +/ Yearly
Responsibilities Include
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs on passenger vehicles and light trucks
* Diagnose and repair drivability issues, engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, and HVAC systems
* Use GM diagnostic tools (GDS2, Tech2, MDI) and service information systems (SI)
* Document repairs and communicate effectively with service advisors
* Ensure customer vehicles are repaired safely and efficiently
* Maintain on-going training and standards education as required by Ferman and the manufacturer for certifications.
Qualifications
* 3-5 years of experience as an automotive technician (B Level or equivalent)
* Strong familiarity with GM vehicle systems and diagnostics
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record
* ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
* GM training or certification a major plus
* EV Experience a plus
* Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.
