* Job Duration: 3 months (possible extension)

* Shift: M - F 1st shift, hours will be 9:00 am - 5:30 pm
* Pay Rate: $19.85 - $21.79
Job Description
* Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
* Have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
* Demonstrate Leadership Behaviours while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.
* Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
* Maintains required records and documentation.
* Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general.
Requirements
* 3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
* Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Keyboard/data entry.
* Customer services.
* Excellent phlebotomy skills to include paediatric and geriatric.
