American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position requiring night shifts, OH or compact RN license, and advanced critical care skills.
Job Details
- Work in the Critical Care Float Pool covering Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU,
- Hospital setting with a variety of ICU units based on staffing and patient acuity,
- Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts, weekends, 7:00PM - 7:30AM,
- Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed,
- Uses the Epic EMR system,
Job Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration,
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience required,
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required,
- Proficiency with Epic EMR is required,
- IV start, telemetry, and ventilator management experience required,
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program,
- Two professional references required, including one from a manager or director; charge RN acceptable for second reference,
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred,
Additional Information
- Responsible for providing critical care nursing across multiple ICU specialties depending on hospital needs,
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity patient care,
- All required fingerprinting for Ohio must be completed urgently upon contract signing,
- Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers,
- RTO (requested time off) must be submitted prior to contract confirmation,
- First time travelers will be considered,
- Former employees may be eligible if separated from the facility for at least 6 months,
- Current employees of the hospital are not eligible for travel positions,
