A growing private company in Sandy Springs is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations across multiple entities.

Position Overview:
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function across multiple business entities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with GAAP standards, and support for business decision-making. You'll work closely with ownership to provide financial insight and improve operational efficiency, while maintaining clean books and timely reporting through QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Direct all accounting operations for multiple entities.
* Lead and optimize the month-end close process and financial statement preparation.
* Maintain the general ledger, ensure accuracy, and oversee account reconciliations.
* Manage and improve QuickBooks accounting systems and workflows.
* Support compliance efforts and review simple contracts as needed.
* Provide strategic financial guidance to leadership.
* Implement process improvements and internal controls.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
* 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
* Proven experience overseeing multi-entity accounting operations.
* Expertise in QuickBooks and GAAP compliance.
* Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
* CPA or public accounting experience strongly preferred.
