TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU to provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide continuous assessment, monitoring, and care for critically ill patients in the ICU.
* Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and treatments accurately and safely.
* Operate and interpret advanced monitoring equipment including ventilators, cardiac monitors, and infusion pumps.
* Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient condition with appropriate interventions.
* Document all patient care activities, assessments, and responses in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
* Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and post-ICU care considerations.
* Adhere strictly to infection control, safety, and compliance policies.
Qualifications
* Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
* Minimum 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
* Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage complex patient care in a high-acuity setting.
